When Washington Mutual took on the New York market, they turned to Kimber Kimber & Associates to develop messaging that would speak to the New York African-American Consumer. This campaign, entitled "Mariah," brought more than half of Washington Mutual's initial black customers during the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2002.
